A special treat we make once a year for Rosh Hashanah: our Gluten-free Sourdough, vegan, and refined sugar-free Chocolate Babka Loaf!
This dough is made with fresh milled sourdough starter, organic buckwheat and millet flour. We wild-ferment the dough (no yeast, eggs, or nuts) and spread an organic maple dark chocolate filling made with organic and fair-trade organic Raaka chocolate. There are twists and turns of rich dark chocolate filling that become gooey when warmed up.
Each loaf is baked in a 9 x 4" pan. We advise to keep these frozen until day of serving- you can thaw on the counter for 2-3 hours then heat at 350 for 10 minutes.
