Our gluten-free sourdough, vegan, and refined sugar-free apple pie!
We source regional and heirloom apples from Toigo Orchards and Wilklow Orchards from Fort Greene Greenmarket, mixed with delicate spices and organic maple and organic coconut sugar.
We toast and hand-mill organic cracked oats from Maine Grains and use them prominently in our pie crust so there is a texture and nutty flavor that compliments the juicy apple filling. Also used are regional buckwheat from Birkett Mills, fair-trade cinnamon and apple cider from Toigo Orchards. The pie has hand-cut pastry hearts placed on top.
